Steeped isn't open yet. This policy covers steeped.app as it is today: a page about what's coming and a list you can join to hear when it's ready. Before Steeped opens, we'll update it to cover the app and the marketplace.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist, along with which version of the page you signed up from.
- Basic request details, such as your IP address, which our hosting and servers use briefly to deliver the page and to stop spam signups.
- Error reports, when something on the page breaks: the page, your browser and the error. They are set up not to include your email or IP address.
- A sign-in cookie, only if you sign in with an existing Steeped account, so you stay signed in.
We don't use analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
How we use it
We use your email address only to tell you when Steeped is ready. We won't add you to any other list, and every email we send will let you stop hearing from us.
Who helps us run the site
steeped.app is hosted on Cloudflare. The waitlist is stored in our own database in the United States, and Sentry receives the error reports. They handle this information for us, only to run the site.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it or we no longer need it to tell you about Steeped.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or leave the waitlist, by writing to privacy@steeped.app.
Children
steeped.app isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
